Webinar: Quality Payment Program Proposed Rule - CMS Consumer Week Listening Session

The Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA) improves how Medicare rewards clinicians for providing quality care through the Quality Payment Program beginning in 2019. This listening session and webinar will explain the new program and give consumers and advocates an opportunity to provide CMS early feedback on proposed policy for the Quality Payment Program. CMS is especially interested in hearing suggestions for how to engage patients in the implementation of this program, so that we hear comments and concerns about patient experience, access to care, and the cost of care.

We encourage participants to review the proposed rule (CMS-5517-P) prior to the listening session. CMS will not consider feedback during the call as formal comments on the rule. See the proposed rule for information on submitting these comments by the close of the 60-day comment period on June 27, 2016.
