Mailings
CMS wants to help hospice providers prepare for the continuation of the Hospice Benefit Component on January 1, 2023. In early 2023, Home Health & Hospice Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) mailed a letter and checklist to hospice providers with overlapping service areas with participating plans. This letter and checklist contains participating plans’ information and billing and claims processing educational materials.
